About a week ago the boys and I went on a nature hike on a trail that is about 6 miles away from our home, Canyon Falls. It is on the Sturgeon River, we hike it often. I love this trail especially after a rain, it is so green and everything comes alive. Here is a photo of the boys and I. I feel like some day soon I am going to be the short one in the family. 
I love this tree and its roots that is why I took this photo, I wish I had a better reason. 
This is Noah up on a huge stump, he loved climbing up, but coming down was a bit more of a challenge. 
Here is Joel, he is camo all the time he even had on camo pants, I think. 
Again I only took this photo because I thought the flower was really pretty with the rain drops still on it’s leaves.
During the summer time we take any and all opportunities to spend family time outside. What have you done lately with family outdoors?
