Today Marks (almost) 2 Weeks into………….

Today marks almost 2 weeks into my new job and I need to reflect on what worked and what did not work. In terms of my planning skills as far as convenience, frugality, and family life in all aspects. Details are not really important but I will list them. I work 3.75 hours a day as a recess aide at a local school district; I am finding the work enjoyable, fast paced and very challenging but totally extinguishing. I have NEVER felt so emotionally and physically drained from any other 4 hour period and to do it day after day. Though I am tired but I so love seeing the little smiles and get the quick little hugs. So I am thinking in the long run I will truly learn to love it, when I have all of my other p and q’s in place.

What I planned for the week, all meals at home, no drive through. Most of the household chores done as normal. No double trips to town.

What actually happened: I learned that I am ONLY hungry in the car on the way to work and never at work. I hit the drive through for me WAY too often. I had one day of double trips to town. I did not hang laundry at all.AND most worst and most costly I did not keep down to the penny tracking of spending and bounced two checks, when cost us $70 (sad face!)

So, this weekend I am going to plan meals that WILL work, and make snacks that I can carry in my purse for the ride home. Also get up early enough to hang the laundry, either outside or inside. The final thing plan better to not have double trips to town in one day. We have a pretty ‘normal’ looking week so it really be an easy success.

I am editing this post to add family and household management. I naturally do an evening routine, laying out clothing, getting bags packed and ready(OH! I think this may be when I need to think about my snacks for the rides to and fro!). I also did pretty well with household chores and laundry, besides the cat box phew! and drying of the laundry.  We all ate and had clean undies. :)
