Spring time is here in the UP. We get a LOT of snow in the UP and it gets really cold. So when spring time comes we are ready to get outside to enjoy the sunshine and warmth. This past weekend, it got up to 61 degrees. We sat outside in the sunshine and enjoyed ice-cream cones. Here are a few photos of my boys enjoying their snacks. This in the front yard where we plow the snow to parks the vehicles, which is why you can see the grass.

Here are the dogs enjoying being outside. Penny Lou is on top of the snow, she is a sweet, crazy dog. We got her as a hand me down from a family member. She has adjusted quite well to being a country dog. She loves to play in the snow and is quite the hunter. She has brought home rabbits and other things. She is about 4 years old and we have had her for about two years now.
Lady Bug is lying at the bottom of the snow hill. She is about 10 years old and we have had her for about 8.5 years. She is the original lap dog, if you’re sitting before you know it she will be up cuddling with you. She loves being a country dog also; she goes for walks with us in the woods exploring everything. She is pretty partial to Joel, and he is to her.

@Elaine, it was a year that we really did not have that much snow. Yep, my house is full of kids.
@Gisele thank you, we are trying to get the yard in shape, when the grass is nice and green I will post more photos.
